Venessa Pension - Avanos, Cappadocia

My pension is in Avanos. It's a conglomerate of three houses opened to one another and built in the old style - with arches, tufa (soft volcanic stone) and many stairs. There's an entrance to the underground city of Avanos, although this is actually not open to the public like those in Derinkuyu, Kaymaklı, Mazı Köy, Acıgöl and Özkonak.

The pension is in the center of Avanos - you can easily go shopping, find a nearby restaurant or take a walk uphill. It's a nice base from which you can explore your Cappadocia!

The breakfast is most famous under friends ;-)

The rooms are well-looked after. All rooms do have toilet and hot shower.

Guide books quote the price per bed as 15 EURO; however, it's best to send an email to check because they may change with the season. Kids under 6 years stay for free.
